Academic Outreach Journal
The journal Foro Cubano (ISSN: 2590: 4833) was created in October 2018 in order to diffuse papers short reflection papers on some of the areas of Cuban and Caribbean studies. People interested in publishing should send texts between 1000 and 1800 words, written in TNR 11 font. In case it is decided to include citations, the APA standards - seventh edition - must be followed (preferably using Zotero or some other bibliographic manager) and include bibliography at the end. It is suggested to include subtitles and images that are considered to be useful for understanding the text and have a clear and accessible wording for a wide audience beyond the academy.

Publication will be subject to approval by the editor of the journal and the person who coordinates each number. The papers must be sent to the email: sergio.angel@usa.edu.co clarifying in the subject the call to which the text is sent. Approval will take a maximum of five working days after shipment.
The call until December 2023 was made on a monthly basis. From 2024 onwards, it will be done on a bimonthly basis, in order to improve the quality and review process.
